Rocky Mountains in Summer, 1982, by Fritz Stehwien – Greeting or Art Card (blank inside)

The landscape featured on this greeting card was painted in 1982, during a trip to western Canada’s Rocky Mountains. The site is located near Hilda Creek, part of the Icefields in Banff National Park. Usually depicted covered in snow and ice, Stehwien chose to paint these mountains in the summertime, when the greenery of the rockies is contrasted by sliding slopes of white snow. The original work is pastel on paper and available for sale in the gallery. Inquire at: bstehwien@sasktel.net

The card, also perfectly suited for framing, is printed locally on high quality card stock. It measures 7.25″ x 5.25″, with the inside left blank for your own message to be written. The card and accompanying envelope are contained within a plastic slip for protection.
