Inspired by my homeland of Scotland, and my love of books,  I created this bookmark using tartan ribbon I bought in Scotland, plus a Celtic knot cross in silver coloured metal alloy and light pink crystal on one end, plus a mix of coordinating beads and crystals on the other end.

Inspired by the Outlander books, Highlander movies and by my beautiful Caledonian homeland and Pictish heritage.

Many Celtic knotwork designs were carved by the ancient Pict people into large standing stones in the Angus area where I lived, and can still be seen today.

Designed by me and handmade by my own Scottish hands. I grew up and lived in North East Scotland, but now live in the beautiful countryside of Alberta, Western Canada on our garlic farm where we have our workshop.

This lovely bookmark makes a beautiful gift for booklovers, journal writers, mothers, fathers, diary keepers, and lovers of Scotland everywhere.

This tartan is named “Highland Pride” designed by a kiltwear company in Scotland as part of their Pride of Scotland tartans, reflecting the pride within the heart of the nation.

The tartan ribbon is 16mm wide and is 100% polyester

The bookmark is sized for a regular hardback novel with the ribbon part being at least 10 inches long, so the ends are not inside the book.
